Innovation in the construction The challenge was to build a yacht of 12 m, as light as resistant, fast and above all economic. To achieve this objective, the use of the latest technologies has been necessary. The hull and the bridge are building composite “sandwich” using the technique of injection under vacuum to reinforce the strength and lightness of the boat. Hull strategic points have been reinforced with Kevlar. A propulsion line in V has been chosen for the VanDutch 40 to allow the boat be well-balanced on poop increasing speed and reducing consumption.

Performances The VanDutch 40 stands out for its lively acceleration and ability to turn in a small space. A speed of over 40 knots can be achieved with Yanmar engines. The engine power is transmitted by the camshaft directly to high performance propellers through tunnels specially designed for this purpose, ensuring a perfect, almost horizontal angle. Handling the VanDutch 40 is easy, especially with the front and rear thrusters standard equipment, in addittion a supplement to this standard equipment, an autopilot combined with a GPS card reader lets you control the ship coolly regardless of sea conditions.

Pure luxury The VanDutch 40 combines good results and a refined design. In the cabin, Corian has been chosen to provide a quality finish and resistance. This cabin is large enough to accommodate 8 people around a hydraulic table that can easily be transformed into a bed. Obviously, air conditioning, heating, flat screen, audio system, the microwave and refrigerator are at your disposal. VanDutch 40 has a full bathroom with electric toilet and shower with hot and cold water. The outer coating of the bridge in Esthec proposes all the advantages of teak without the disadvantages of maintenance, with a multitude of color combinations of tables and seals. Conditioning the bridge comprises among other things retractable pegs, boxes with hydraulic opening and telescopic light navigation, stainless steel bath ladder. The built-in storage compartment for fenders allows to appreciate a design unbelievably refined.
